The smile of Riems refers to a famous sculpture adorning the façade of Reims Cathedral, The Smiling Angel of Reims. This iconic 13th-century angel, known for its gentle smile, symbolises hope and resilience. Despite damage during World War I, it remains a beloved emblem of Reims, embodying the city's rich cultural heritage.
