Classic antique Queen Anne style three-piece sterling silver tea set with the characteristic half-fluted bodies. The elegant silver teapot pour perfectly and have ebonised fruitwood handle and finial, while the domed cover has a jeweller's flush hinge, a mark of superior quality. The interiors of the sugar bowl and milk jug are gilded.
Although the pattern is referred to as Queen Anne style, it is in fact more reminiscent of the neoclassical revival era of the 1790s.
