Excellent quality in all respects, this pair of plain colonial silver photograph frames were hand made in a heavy gauge of silver, and fitted with smooth polished hardwood backs and easels.

The portrait style apertures will display 190mm x 265mm (7½" x 10½") photographs.

Indian colonial silver refers to pieces produced in India for a European clientele from 1790 - when the East India Company began trading in Calcutta - until 1947 when India gained the independence from the British Raj.
