A rare silk, metallic and linen triple tassel, circa 1700

The woven metal and linen thread hanging cords descending through the baluster-shaped wooden mould of the single upper tassel and terminating beneath a pair of matching tassels, each with a chevron weave to the mould, above looped metal and silk gimp frill atop a double tiered silk tufted fringe, dimensions exclude later extension to hanging cords
