Worked in various stitches using an array of coloured silk floss threads and designed with symmetrical scrolling arabesques of flowering vines, populated with paired butterflies and birds including parrots, songbirds and owls, above a hilly landscape featuring animals including lions, hounds, badger, fox and rabbits, the entire woven linen ground worked in a soft golden silk floss thread, framed and glazed, dimensions include frame, needlework only height 82.3cm, width 139cm
