A superb documented Queen Anne silk needlework, circa 1710

Finely worked in coloured silks using a variety of stitches on a fine linen ground, designed with flowering branches and exotic birds in an English Chinoiserie style, the field stitched with all over lattice pattern, (false quilting), giltwood framed and glazed, unframed size 54cm high, 76.5cm wide
