Finely worked in coloured floss silks and coloured metallic purl threads on a silk ground, depicting a lady seated on a grassy hillock near a fruiting vine with her dog, within a roundel surrounded by tulips, honeysuckle, dog rose and pansy interspersed with insects and a bird, edged with a narrow 17th century silk fringe and framed in an early 19th century gilt and ebonised frame, glazed.
