The back of three long spindles, a short arch-shaped cresting with slightly flared ends, the three-part arm bow on six further spindles, morticed through the arm and attached to the impressive semi-circular, thick, boarded seat, with flat front, on three hand-facetted splayed and tapering legs morticed through the seat.
The advantage of three legs being that they remain more stable on an uneven floor.
