The single back panel profusely strapwork carved around a small, central, flowerhead, the base and top rail with punched-decorated run-moulding, and with integral double leafy-scroll carved cresting, further punched-decoration to the downswept arms, which have a comparatively rare tight scroll carved to the outer face of each end, on rising-baluster turned supports, impressive one-piece trapezoid seat, on parallel-baluster over reel-turned front legs, joined all round by plain stretchers.
