A Theo Fahrner (Atb) Art Deco silver brooch set with three table cut sapphire pastes and white pastes. Circa 1920.
Theodor Fahrner (1859-1919) was a German jewellery designer and steel engraver from Pforzheim. After inheriting his father's ring factory in 1883, he transformed it into a leading producer of affordable Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) jewellery.
Fahrner collaborated with artists like Max J. Gradl, whose designs earned a silver medal at the 1900 Paris Exposition. His pieces featured silver, enamel, and semi-precious stones, making artistic jewellery accessible to the masses. Posthumously, his firm gained renown for Art Deco creations.
