A rare etched glass goblet engraved and signed by the artist, Alfred R Blundell. Circa 1930.
Alfred Richard Blundell was a painter, printmaker and glass engraver, born in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. He studied at the Slade School of Art in 1913, and later showed at the Royal Academy, New English Art Club and the Alpine Club Gallery. The Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge, holds examples of his work. Blundell lived at Cavenham Mill, near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
