Andrew Herd Scott (1875-1939) was a Scottish professional golfer and clubmaker. He is best known for his innovative contributions to golf club design, including the patented "Fork Splice" driver in 1895, which aimed to improve the durability and performance of wooden clubs. Scott was also a skilled golfer, finishing tied for 7th in the 1896 Open Championship. His expertise earned him a royal warrant from King George V, and his clubs were highly sought after worldwide.
